The project comprised of the construction of a new 850m2 reel store and conversion of the existing reel store to accommodate a new press which is one of the most sophisticated press lines in the UK. The mechanical and electrical services included electricity with power quality active harmonic filters, chilled Water supplies to – dampening water, main drives, ink drums and water cooled electric controls with a total duty of 260 kW, compressed Air and environment control within the Press Hall which is controlled by an industrial displacement ventilation system.
