The project comprised of the refurbishment of the Director’s accommodation and MAS Sales Presentation room. Previously an open plan office, the proposed scheme was to accommodate a new entrance, a state-of-the-art presentation suite, board room, offices, break-out areas and welfare facilities.
The building was stripped back to its fabric, and the opportunity was taken to complete an air test prior to any new works being carried out which highlighted numerous weaknesses. The entire building envelope was re-insulated internally, together with new windows, solar panels and an efficient heating system.
